With collections spanning more than 5,000 years of culture, the Metropolitan is a journey through the world’s greatest art. The Museum’s renowned collections, around 30 special exhibitions a year, and many public guided tours are all included in the admission. 

Furthermore, the Met Audio Guide offers a low-cost option of more than 100 hours of informative audio commentary available in 10 languages, developed by curators and educators. The Met Store also offers great dining facilities and shopping.    
Admission to the Met includes same-day admission to The Cloisters museum and gardens, the branch of the Metropolitan Museum devoted to the art, architecture, and gardens of medieval Europe. The Cloisters is located in northern Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park, offering amazing views of the Hudson River. 

With a 1-Day Pass you get general admission to all three parts of the museum: The Met Fifth Avenue, The Met Cloisters and the Met Breuer as well as entry to all special exhibitions.

How do I get my tickets?
Shortly after your booking is complete, you will receive an e-ticket by mail. Please print out your ticket and bring it with you to the Met.

How long is my ticket valid?
A 1-Day Pass for Metropolitan Museum of Art is only valid for the day you book for.
